Situated between Takoma and Fort Trotten to the east of Brightwood and 16th Street Heights, Manor Park is one of DC's sought-after northeast side neighborhoods. With its 1920s-style row houses and bungalows, Manor Park provides the best of urban and suburban -- close to downtown but still affordable and close to mass transit. At the heart of the neighborhood, Fort Slocum Park offers Civil War history, forests, open fields, and picnic areas.

On the southern edge of Manor Park, residents have easy access to Fort Trotten Park and the Fort Trotten Metro station. The Takoma Metro station sits just north of the neighborhood. While mainly residential, Manor Park residents can head to Georgia Avenue to find a variety of shops, restaurants, and other businesses.
